My first Skateboarding game, and my first involvement in blatant product placement! A fun experience overall, and we got free Nokia cell phones for our fine work! I was really happy with the Olliewood level's gameplay and all it's advertising based quests. I also had fun doing a bunch of art for fake magazines, and products that appeared through out the game.
If you're going to make a bad game, at least be happy that it made money! Bad games can teach a lot, and give you some funny stories, Simpon's was a bonanza of funny learning experiences.
Phantom Menace was sort of a forgettable game, much like the movie. It was my first full 3D game, Lucasarts would not commit to the new 3D graphics cards so we had to run without one. This limited our horsepower significantly. It was mainly action, but contained some multi-path dialogue tree sequences. We built a PVP mode and a first person perspective version of the game, but given the time frame to ship with the movie, neither of those options made it into the shipped game.
